How to upload complex breakfasts

Hoteza Shop pages allow to add a list of optional products within one item. In case several options of products and drinks are available for guests within one Breakfast set, they are created as Toppings in the CMS.

Firstly, create a Breakfast page under the In-Room Dining shop. Fill in the title and its description, the price and insert a picture. If the photo set of dishes is not ready yet, you may set a generic icon.

Please note!
According to statistics, product pages with pictures are significantly more attractive to guests and they increase the conversion of orders. A page may me saved without any icon or picture, but this will for sure influence the total overview of the screen menu.

After saving the page start adding the optional products using the Add item button

BUFFET BREAKFAST

For the period of pandemic restrictions you might need to create a screen version of the buffet breakfast - a variety of dishes and drinks for a set price - to be delivered to a room or served in a restaurant only after a preorder, which will help in maintaining the safety distance between guests during the Breakfast time.

On the screen the list of available drinks appears as a topping list to one Breakfast:

In the CMS create a Complex Breakfast product page with its fixed price.

  • Add a text with a description of the Buffet Breakfast procedure and/or the new rules in the Text field.
  • Add the products and drinks as toppings of different type:

Please note!
On TV applications the length of the topping titles is limited, we recommend to shorten them to prevent the wrong positioning on the screen.
